THE START OF A NEW SEASON
A new season starts in Ukraine after the New Year holidays. Within a month there will be a number of senior tournaments – both in Ukraine and abroad.
Ukraine
JANUARY 19, KHARKIV. IV OPEN KHARKIV BALL
Organizer – VTSU.
Competitions will be held in two categories of the European and Latin American program – up to 35 years and 45 years. The tournament starts on January 19 – at 18:30. The tournament will be held in SC “Lokomotiv” – 90a Bolshaya Panasovskaya Street. A link to the entry form is here.
25 JANUARY. KIEV. “WINTER PROMENADE-2020”
Organizer – “Dance League”.
The senior part of the tournament is represented only by the European program. The competition will take place on January 25 at 18:00 in the hall “Age” in Victory Park. A link to the entry form is here.
26 JANUARY. KHARKOV. XV FIRST CAPITAL -2020 PAM’YATY OLEKSII LITVINOVA
Organizer – GOSTU
The tournament for seniors will be held on January 26 at 18:30 with two programmes. The venue will be the Palace of Sports at 2 Grigorenko Avenue. A link to the entry form is here.
Europe
10-12 JANUARY. BENIDORM (SPAIN). MELIA VILLAITANA BENIDORM
Organizer – WDSF
The tournament will be held at the Hotel Melia Villaitana. The competitions of the European program in Senior III and Senior IV categories will take place on January 10. On January 11 Senior I Lat and Senior II St categories will compete, on January 12 the competition will involve Senior I St, Senior II Lat and Senior III Lat categories.

18-19 JANUARY. MONTECATINI TERME (ITALY). TUSCANY OPEN-2020
Organizer – WDSF
The tournament is held in a rather unusual palace of sports. The city itself is located halfway from Florence to Pisa.
Competitions among seniors are held exclusively on the European program. On January 18, Senior III and Senior IV will go on the parquet floor. January 19 is for Senior I and Senior II categories.

25-26 JANUARY. MILAN (ITALY). MILANO GRAND BALL
The organizer is Freedome to dance
This unique tournament will take place in the Marriott Hotel. Classification of participants is carried out both according to WDSF rules – Senior 1, Senior 2, Senior 3, Senior 4, and according to WDC rules – older than 35, 50 and 60 years. In addition, there is a category for professionals over 40 years.
